Six Sisters, Alternative Bindingby ~Cloud-Dragonz

Artisan Crafts / Jewelry / Necklaces & Pendants

Knot work is emblematic of the connectedness of all things in creation, I call this one six sisters because there are six loops all woven together, the design is original. Outer diameter is 1.5 inches.

Materials:
Cast in silver, three strand braided cord is made from waxed hemp, I used beeswax from my own bees to wax the hemp and wove the braid myself.

Thanks, I wasn't 100% happy with the bindings before, this is much closer to what I wanted for this piece, more tribal.

It's definitely an interesting binding (unusual; looks cool). Does seem to cover a fair amount of the knot, though.
